Summary

• We are seeking a seasoned and visionary General Manager to lead the overall operations of our Hotel & Restaurant.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, enhancing guest satisfaction, and providing strategic leadership across all business functions. Candidates with international hospitality experience are highly preferred; expatriates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and restaurant to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and sustainable business performance.
• Lead and manage departmental heads, fostering a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction by maintaining superior service quality across all departments.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profit optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hospitality, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor operational performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to increase occupancy, restaurant patronage, and brand visibility.
• Represent the organization professionally at industry events, business meetings, and stakeholder engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
• 10 - 15 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel and restaurant operations, with at least 5 years in a General Manager or senior executive role.
• International hospitality experience is highly preferred; expatriate candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated success in managing luxury hotels, resorts, or internationally recognized hospitality brands.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in revenue management, financial planning, and operational excellence.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and people management skills.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and hospitality management software.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment.

Salary
N400,000 - N600,000 monthly.
