Job Brief
- The Associate is a key member of the firm’s legal practice team, responsible for delivering high quality legal services across advisory, transactional, and litigation mandates.
- This role involves conducting in-depth legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing client matters, and supporting senior lawyers in complex cases and transactions.
- The Associate serves as a legal solutions provider, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness in all client dealings.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Call to the Nigerian Bar.
- Minimum of 4 years post-call experience in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience in litigation, maritime law, corporate/commercial law, or regulatory advisory (depending on firm’s practice focus).
- Continuous professional development (CPD) participation and evidence of relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ideal candidate should preferably live within the Lekki axis.
Skill sets:
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Law Pavilion).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Client service-oriented with proven ability to build trust and maintain relationships.
