Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are looking for an Accountant who is proactive, organized, and able to take ownership of the company's accounting processes.
• This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, improve systems, and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments (cash, transfers, POS, etc.).
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Handle statutory and regulatory accounting requirements where applicable.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of an HND in Accounting. (Mandatory)
• Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC accounting experience. (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ICAN/ATS certification or active pursuit of a professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.

Remuneration
N250,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
