Job Summary

• We are seeking to recruit a competent, safety-conscious, and experienced Crane Operator to join our operations team.
• The ideal candidate must have proven experience operating mobile cranes and lifting equipment in construction, dredging, equipment leasing, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently for lifting, moving, positioning, and placing heavy materials and equipment.
• Inspect the crane before and after each shift to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Interpret load charts and ensure lifting operations remain within the crane's rated capacity.
• Work closely with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors to execute lifting operations safely.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and promptly report mechanical faults or defects.
• Maintain accurate daily operational and inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, statutory regulations, and HSE procedures.
• Keep the crane clean and ensure it is properly secured when not in use.
• Support project teams in achieving operational targets while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent.
• Valid Crane Operator Certification or Licence (where applicable).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience operating mobile cranes.
• Good knowledge of lifting operations, rigging practices, and load charts.
• Ability to conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
