About the Role

• Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our building construction team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, fixing, and installing reinforcement steel in accordance with structural drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural reinforcement drawings.
• Cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
• Assemble reinforcement cages and steel frameworks.
• Ensure reinforcement placement complies with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors during reinforcement inspections.
• Maintain tools and equipment used for steel fixing.
• Follow quality control procedures and safety regulations.
• Report material shortages and reinforcement issues promptly.
• Support timely execution of structural works.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' proven experience as a Steel Fixer on building construction projects.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing and structural drawings.
• Experience using steel cutting and bending equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant vocational or trade certification will be an added advantage.
