The Law Crest LLP (“the Firm”) constantly provides legal, consulting and advisory services on energy matters in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the energy industry. The Firm is at the fore-front of negotiating and drafting exploration and production contracts and joint ventures, obtaining necessary consents for acquisitions and transfers of interests as well as the creation of charges over oil and gas assets. We have also developed considerable expertise negotiating and preparing gas and petroleum products purchase and sales agreements and related contracts.
Our Firm’s services are also engaged for the preparation and review of service agreements; agreements for lease of vessels, tugboats and house boats; agreements for the lease of tank farms; anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) agreements; joint venture agreements; through-put lease agreements and gas purchase agreements amongst others.

Job Title: IT Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive, resourceful and self-driven IT Officer to manage and support our technology infrastructure.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, secure and uninterrupted operation of the Firm's IT systems while providing timely technical support to users. This role is ideal for an IT professional who can work independently, take initiative, solve problems proactively, and contribute to improving our technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Firm's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks and internet services.
- Provide first-line technical support and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, user accounts and access permissions.
- Manage LAN/WAN, wireless networks, printers, CCTV systems and other IT assets.
- Monitor system performance, implement security measures and support cybersecurity initiatives.
- Liaise with external IT vendors and consultants to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain the Firm's website and other technology platforms.
- Prepare periodic IT reports and recommend technology improvements.
- Ensure compliance with the Firm's ICT policies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years; relevant IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Experience with networking, hardware support, CCTV systems and website administration.
- Sound understanding of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure management.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
