Job Title: Junior Sourcing Officer

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Sourcing Officer will support the sales & procurement team in sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations and processing purchase orders.
• The role requires strong attention to detail, negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain accurate procurement records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and vendors for goods and services required by the company.
• Request and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
• Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Support inventory monitoring and stock replenishment activities.
• Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers under supervision.
• Prepare procurement reports and updates as required.

• Timely processing of purchase orders.
• Cost savings achieved through effective sourcing.
• Vendor delivery performance.
• Accuracy of sourcing records.
• Compliance with sourcing policies

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with procurement software is an added advantage.
• Proximity to VGC, Ajah, Lagos State, is required for this position.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month depending on qualifications and experience.
