Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our mining operations in Kaduna. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all surveying activities, ensuring accurate measurements, mapping, and data collection to support efficient mine planning and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Mine surveying: Conduct precise surveys to establish mine boundaries, excavation levels, and underground layouts.
• Data analysis: Process and interpret survey data to provide actionable insights for mine planning and development.
• Team leadership: Supervise junior surveyors and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Equipment management: Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners.
• Compliance monitoring: Ensure all surveying activities comply with mining regulations and company policies.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and charts for management and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• 7–10 years professional experience in mining or heavy industry surveying.
• Proficiency in surveying software (AutoCAD, Surpac, GIS tools).
• Strong knowledge of mine planning and geospatial data management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
