Job Title: Pharmacy Intern

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team.
  • This role offers hands-on experience in a professional pharmacy setting, supporting pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and friendly patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, sorting, and dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
  • Support inventory management, including stock checks, expiry-date monitoring, and product shelving.
  • Help maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
  • Provide courteous customer service and direct clients to the pharmacist when clinical advice is needed.
  • Assist with preparing non-sterile products and packaging medicines, where permitted.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant pharmacy environment.
  • Support health-promotion activities and other day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Recently graduated from an accredited pharmacy programme.
  • Eligibility to complete an internship in line with local pharmacy regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Good communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow professional instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy practice, medicines, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications is an advantage.
