Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of network infrastructure and related technologies.
• The successful candidate will ensure optimal network performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver infrastructure projects that meet client requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
• Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and network segmentation.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, backups, and firmware updates on network infrastructure.
• Install and manage structured cabling, server racks, and related network hardware.
• Support server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure where required.
• Document network configurations, diagrams, asset inventories, and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity, Application Development, and Customer Experience teams to deliver integrated IT solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients and participate in project deployments.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of TCP / IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment such as Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Sophos, Huawei, or similar technologies.
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls and network security solutions.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud networking is an added advantage.
• Experience with structured cabling and network installations.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, HCIA, MTCNA, NSE, or CompTIA Network+ are an advantage.

Salary
N250,000 per month.
