Role Overview
- Develop and deliver dynamic social studies lessons that spark curiosity and encourage exploration of different cultures, historical events, and geographical regions.
- Create hands-on learning experiences and interactive projects that bring history to life and engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and appreciation for diversity.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences and connect students with the wider world.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate faith-based values and perspectives into the social studies curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Studies, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
- Passion for social studies education and a natural curiosity about the world.
- Adventurous spirit with a willingness to explore new ideas, cultures, and historical narratives.
- Strong commitment to integrating faith-based values into teaching and learning.
