Job Title: School Nurse
Location: Abuja
Role Overview
- Provide compassionate and competent healthcare services to students, staff, and visitors in accordance with professional nursing standards and state regulations.
- Assess and address the healthcare needs of students, including administering medication, treating minor injuries and illnesses, and managing chronic health conditions.
- Develop and implement health education programs and initiatives to promote wellness and prevent illness among students and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create individualized healthcare plans for students with special medical needs.
- Uphold the values of love, compassion, and respect in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nigeria required.
- Prior experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred but not required.
- CPR and first aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Alignment with the school’s values of love of God, love for children, and a passion for the job.
