We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Omoku, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• To provide administrative and operational support to the Sales & Marketing Department by processing sales orders, preparing sales reports, coordinating customer orders and deliveries, maintaining accurate sales records, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and confirm customer orders promptly.
• Prepare sales invoices, delivery notes, quotations, and other sales documents.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, sales transactions, and product inventory.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Follow up on pending customer orders and deliveries.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly or escalate where necessary.
• Monitor daily sales activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Maintain an up-to-date customer database and sales filing system.
• Track customer payments and follow up on outstanding invoices in collaboration with the Finance Department.
• Assist in preparing sales forecasts and performance analyses.
• Schedule meetings and maintain the Sales Manager's calendar where required.
• Support the implementation of sales promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and sales procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Must have 2–3 years' experience in sales administration or customer service.
• Experience in the FMCG, agriculture, or food processing industry is an added advantage.
