Job Description
- The People Manager is a strategic business partner responsible for developing and executing people strategies that enable organizational growth, operational excellence, and exceptional employee experience across Cavista Holdings and its diverse portfolio of companies.
- This role partners closely with executive leadership and business leaders to drive workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, culture, change management, and people operations.
- The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and operational excellence with the ability to influence leaders, build high-performing teams, strengthen organizational capability, and deliver scalable people solutions across multiple industries and business environments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the team and business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that align with business objectives, drive organizational effectiveness, and support sustainable growth across Cavista Holdings and its portfolio companies.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of people policies, governance frameworks, employee lifecycle processes, and HR best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, operational excellence, and an exceptional employee experience across the Group.
- Drive organizational development initiatives include organizational design, change management, culture transformation, employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce capability program that support business transformation and long-term growth.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and business leaders to ensure seamless workforce planning, onboarding, employee movement, workforce optimization, and people-related decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, investigations, grievance management, and policy interpretation while ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and organizational policies.
- Lead the annual performance management cycle, supporting leaders in goal setting, performance reviews, talent calibration, performance improvement planning, and recognition program that drive accountability and high performance.
- Analyze workforce data, people metrics, engagement insights, turnover trends, and organizational health indicators to provide executive reporting and strategic recommendations that support informed business decisions.
- Support the development and implementation of compensation, benefits, rewards, recognition, and employee well-being initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct regular visits to portfolio companies to strengthen business partnerships, assess organizational health, support people initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with Group people strategies and standards.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, employee wellbeing, and a high-performance culture by promoting initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and integration initiatives by providing strategic people support, workforce transition planning, change management, and post-integration stabilization.
- Represent the People function in enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, governance and cross-functional projects, ensuring people considerations are embedded in organizational decision-making.
- Perform any other strategic people, organizational development, or cross-portfolio responsibilities assigned by executive leadership to support the continued growth, stability, and long-term success of Cavista Holdings and its portfolio companies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, Management, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, HRCI (PHR/SPHR), CIPD, or an equivalent internationally recognized HR certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 4 years in or People Manager role.
- Experience supporting multiple business units, portfolio companies, or geographically dispersed teams within a holdings company, multinational organization, or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational development, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and change management.
- Strong experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategic business decisions.
- Experience across multiple industries is highly desirable.
