The Royal School of Educational Therapy (RSE-T) Foundation is a proposed non-profit private school that comprises of General Education and Special Education services for students (Kindergarten to High School for General Education; Kindergarten to Adulthood for Special Education). RSET Foundation prepares pupils in General Education for University Education and pupils in Special Education for Vocational Life-Long Skills.

Currently, the RSETF is running a Full-Day and an After-School Learning Centre for Educational Therapy (ET), related therapies such as Speech and Language, Occupational and Pyshiotherapy, and Academic Tutoring for diverse learners.

Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Abuja

Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Abuja. Our mission is to provide exceptional educational support tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
• We are looking for an individual who is passionate about fostering the emotional and psychological well-being of children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, social, or academic challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create supportive learning environments.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to enhance student well-being and academic performance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide training and support to staff on mental health issues and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field desired.
• Valid license or certification to practice as a school psychologist.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
