Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrical Technician to join our team in Kogi State.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on heavy-duty equipment used in construction, mining, quarry, or industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults on heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot ECUs, sensors, alternators, starters, batteries, charging systems, and wiring harnesses.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Install and upgrade electrical components and safety systems.
• Conduct on-site field service and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Prepare accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and electrical safety standards.

Requirements

• Diploma, OND, HND, or Technical Certification in Auto Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years' experience as an Auto Electrical Technician working on heavy-duty equipment.
• Strong experience with excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, cranes, forklifts, dump trucks, generators, graders, and other construction/mining equipment.
• Good knowledge of ECU diagnostics, CAN Bus systems, electrical schematics, wiring, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide field service support when required.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Heavy Equipment Dealerships | Construction | Mining | Quarry | Industrial Equipment | Equipment Rental.

Salary 
N350,000 - N450,000 per month.
