Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (depending on experience)

About the Role

• We are looking for a talented and reliable Content Writer to join our growing team.
• If you enjoy researching online, writing clear and engaging articles, and helping people discover life-changing opportunities abroad, this role is for you.
• You will research current international scholarships, fully funded academic opportunities, visa-sponsored jobs, internships, and other global opportunities
• . Your work will involve turning accurate information into well-structured, easy-to-read articles that provide real value to our readers.
• This is a 100% remote position, and we are hiring candidates based in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current scholarships, fellowships, internships, visa-sponsored jobs, and other international opportunities from trusted sources.
• Write original, informative, and engaging articles that are clear, accurate, and easy to understand.
• Publish articles on our website using WordPress or another content management system (training will be provided if needed).
• Ensure all information is accurate, up to date, and properly sourced before publication.
• Write SEO-friendly content using relevant keywords, headings, and meta descriptions.
• Update older articles when application deadlines or requirements change.
• Meet agreed content deadlines while maintaining high writing standards.
• Suggest content ideas based on current trends and opportunities.

Requirements

• BSc. Degree in Journalism, Media, Art, or any Degree with relevant high value content writing experience
• Excellent written English with strong grammar and attention to detail.
• Strong online research skills and the ability to verify information from reliable sources.
• Ability to write original content without plagiarism or excessive use of AI-generated text.
• Basic understanding of SEO content writing.
• Experience using WordPress is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Genuine interest in scholarships, international education, careers, or global opportunities.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, creativity, and engagement
• Ability to engage a variety of audiences
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques for evaluating educational content.
• Ability and familiarity with running Facebook ads
• The ability to work with independence, intelligence, drive, and initiative
• Ensure that all activity helps to build brand and is always brand compliant
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Previous experience writing blog articles, news, educational content, or career-related content.
• Familiarity with scholarship applications, international admissions, or recruitment is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of basic image editing tools such as Canva is a plus.
• You must know how to use AI tools in generating, editing contents and harmonising work-flow.
