We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commercial Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Growth:

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow patient volume, service utilization, and hospital revenue.
• Identify new service lines, markets, and revenue opportunities.
• Monitor performance of revenue centers: OPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, admissions, surgery, etc.

HMO, Corporate & Insurance Management:

• Manage relationships with HMOs, insurance companies, and corporate clients.
• Negotiate tariffs, SLAs, and contracts to ensure profitability.
• Ensure timely claims processing, reconciliation, and minimal denials.

Pricing, Billing & Collections:

• Develop competitive pricing and tariff structures for all services.
• Work with Finance to monitor billing accuracy, revenue leakage, and debt collection.
• Ensure compliance with hospital credit policy and cash flow targets.

Marketing & Brand Positioning:

• Collaborate with Marketing to promote hospital services and specialty clinics.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Drive patient acquisition and retention initiatives.

Customer Experience & Service Delivery:

• Ensure excellent patient experience across all touchpoints.
• Work with clinical and support teams to improve turnaround times and service quality.
• Handle escalations and ensure patient feedback is acted on.

Reporting & Strategy:

• Prepare monthly commercial reports: revenue, margins, payer mix, AR, KPIs.
• Present insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
