Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Peter Odili & Artilery - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver outstanding English lessons aligned with the Cambridge/English National Curriculum.
• Teach reading, writing, phonics, grammar, spelling, handwriting, vocabulary, and spoken English.
• Develop children's confidence in speaking, presentation, and communication.
• Assess pupils regularly and use data to improve learning outcomes.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs, including SEND learners.
• Maintain an engaging, print-rich, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, reports, and pupil portfolios.
• Foster positive behaviour through excellent classroom management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding educational experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education or related field. • Minimum 2 years' teaching experience.
• Experience with Cambridge / British Curriculum. Strong phonics, literacy and classroom management skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Passionate, creative and child-centred.
• Tech Savvy.
