Job Title: Finance Manager

Description
- Our client is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Finance Manager to join its leadership team and play a key role in driving its financial success.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and strategic financial planning while supporting the overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements, including FIRS, CBN, SEC, and other relevant authorities where applicable.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, payment schedules, and liquidity planning to ensure smooth business operations.
- Develop and maintain strong financial controls, identify financial risks, support audit processes, and implement measures to safeguard company assets and prevent financial leakages.
- Ensure timely filing and remittance of statutory deductions, taxes, audit requirements, and other financial obligations in accordance with Nigerian laws and company policies.
- Provide financial insights, investment analysis, management reports, and recommendations to guide business planning, expansion decisions, and performance improvement.
- Supervise, coach, and develop finance team members while promoting accountability, confidentiality, professionalism, and a high-performance culture.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
- 5 – 10 years of experience in Finance, internal control, audit, or compliance.
- Experience in Banking or Finance is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, risk assessment, and investment strategies.
- Expertise in financial regulations, compliance, and corporate governance.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Salary
N8,000,000 annually.
