We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fibre Engineer Trainee
Location: Ajah / Lekki, Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber optic networks.
- Assist in troubleshooting fiber network faults and connectivity issues.
- Conduct site surveys and assist in planning fiber installations.
- Help with the installation and configuration of networking equipment.
- Monitor network performance and report faults to senior engineers.
- Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards during field operations.
- Respond to customer service requests related to fiber connectivity when assigned.
- Properly handle and maintain fiber engineering tools and equipment.
- Participate in technical training sessions and continuously develop engineering skills.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
