FactBase Consulting Limited - Our client is a reputable organisation based on Lagos Island specialising in the procurement, distribution and promotion of literary materials and serving a diverse retail and wholesale customer base across Nigeria and some neighbouring African countries.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Location: Victorial Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description (in Summary)

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process by sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, coordinating local and international purchases, monitoring inventory replenishment, liaising with freight forwarders and clearing agents, tracking shipments and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products in compliance with organisational procurement policies.

Major Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a retail or related industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory/procurement systems and ERP software is an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and organisational skills, with a high level of integrity and attention to details.

Reward System

• Salary is about N400, 000 per month.
