We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Game Designer

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• We require a Game Designer to lead the conceptualization and design of engaging gameplay experiences across our game and interactive product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Improve gameplay quality and player engagement
• Create clear design documentation for development teams
• Design balanced progression and reward systems
• Improve player retention through engaging gameplay loops
• Ensure consistency in gameplay vision across projects
• Reduce development inefficiencies caused by unclear requirements
• Support rapid prototyping and validation of game concepts
• Strengthen the overall quality and market competitiveness of our products

Requirements

• Strong skills in 3D modelling (Blender or similar tools)
• Ability to create game-ready assets (optimized meshes, clean topology)
• Basic understanding of game development workflows
• Basic programming knowledge (preferably C# in Unity)
• Experience working with Unity game engine
• Ability to integrate 3D assets directly into a game environment
• Knowledge of texturing, lighting, and basic animation
• Understanding of asset optimization for mobile/WebGL
• Ability to script simple gameplay mechanics

Skills:

• 3D modelling and asset creation
• UV mapping and texturing
• Basic scripting (e.g., player interactions, simple mechanics)
• Asset integration into game engines

Attitude:

• Creative and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn and improve programming skills
• Ability to balance art and technical requirements
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
