We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Auditor

Location: Garki, Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Junior Auditor will assist in conducting station audits, verifying financial and operational records, monitoring compliance with company policies, and identifying areas of risk, loss, or operational inefficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting routine and surprise audits across retail stations in Enugu
• Verify daily sales, cash collections, POS transactions, and bank lodgements.
• Reconcile fuel sales with pump readings, tank dips, and stock records.
• Review operational documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in physical stock counts and asset verification exercises.
• Identify discrepancies, shortages, or irregular transactions and report findings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare audit working papers and support the preparation of audit reports.
• Follow up on corrective actions arising from audit observations.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Willingness to travel within operational locations when required.
