We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR & Talent Acquisition Lead

Location: Lagos

Role

  • Build and lead the talent, organisational, and performance systems of a high-performance engineering, EPC, energy, technology, and infrastructure company.
  • You will establish the workforce, leadership capability, and organisational foundations required to attract exceptional professionals, build high-performing teams, develop future leaders, and enable sustainable business growth.
  • This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building the workforce, leadership capability, and organisational systems that will power an engineering enterprises.
  • You will contribute to powering progress through excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's workforce, talent acquisition, and organisational capability strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across engineering, project delivery, commercial, operations, and corporate functions.
  • Establish scalable recruitment, assessment, onboarding, performance management, leadership development, and succession systems.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality talent pipeline aligned with current and future business priorities.
  • Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, capability development, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Establish HR governance, policies, compliance frameworks, and people operations that support sustainable growth.
  • Strengthen employer brand, organisational culture, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Measure and improve recruitment effectiveness, workforce capability, organisational performance, and talent outcomes through data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum Experience: 7–10+ years
  • Proven success building and leading talent acquisition or people functions within engineering, EPC, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, or similarly technical environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit exceptional technical, commercial, operational, and leadership professionals.
  • Strong expertise in workforce planning, organisational development, performance management, talent acquisition, and HR governance.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, sound judgement, execution discipline, and ownership mentality.

Technical Proficiency
Demonstrated expertise in:

  • Talent acquisition strategy, executive search, technical recruitment, employer branding, workforce planning, and talent pipeline development.
  • Competency-based assessment, interview design, onboarding, performance management, leadership development, organisational design, and succession planning.
  • HR governance, employment practices, policy development, compliance, people operations, HRIS/ATS platforms, workforce analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
