We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supermarket Supervisor

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the supermarket to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.
• Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of store staff.
• Ensure shelves are properly stocked, organized, and merchandised.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of products.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues professionally.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety standards.
• Track product movement and minimize stock losses, wastage, and shrinkage.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure product availability.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new store employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Drive sales initiatives to achieve store targets and improve profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a supermarket, retail store, or FMCG environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and merchandising.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Candidates residing in or around Wuse 2, Abuja, will have an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 per month.
