Job Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Community Health Worker to join our team as a Pharmacy Staff at St. Camillus Catholic Hospital.
- The successful candidate will assist in day-to-day pharmacy operations, supporting health service delivery and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing prescribed medications under supervision.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records of medicines and medical supplies.
- Provide basic health education and guidance to patients regarding drug usage and safety.
- Support community outreach and public health initiatives organized by the hospital.
- Ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and organization within the pharmacy.
Requirements
- Diploma in Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) or related field.
- Prior experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting is an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory recording.
- Proximity to the hospital is an added advantage.
