Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Coldroom Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of frozen food products while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- The ideal candidate will ensure products are stored safely, stock records are accurate, and losses are minimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming frozen products.
- Store products properly in the coldroom according to company standards.
- Issue stock only upon approved requests and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Apply the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle to minimize product expiry and waste.
- Monitor coldroom temperature and report any faults immediately.
- Ensure products are properly labelled, arranged, and easily accessible.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or spoiled products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using stock cards or inventory software.
- Keep the coldroom clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Assist with stock reconciliation and periodic audits.
- Work closely with procurement, sales, and management to ensure stock availability.
- Perform any other store-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND in relevant discipline with 1 year working experience.
Salary
N100,000 per month.
