Job Title: Professional Hair Stylist

Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday

Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Professional Hair Stylist to join our salon team in Magodo.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about hair care, possess strong technical skills in hair styling and treatments, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, washing, styling, blow-drying, colouring, and hair treatment services.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments.
• Perform hair colouring, highlighting, and conditioning treatments while ensuring the health of clients' hair.
• Install, style, and maintain wigs and hair extensions (an added advantage).
• Recommend appropriate hair care products and educate clients on proper hair maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation and ensure all tools are properly cleaned and sanitized after use.
• Stay updated on current hair trends, styling techniques, and beauty industry best practices.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
• Comply with all salon policies, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of professional experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon or beauty studio.
• Strong skills in hair cutting, washing, styling, colouring, and hair treatments.
• Experience in wig installation and styling is an added advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of hair care products and styling tools.
• Neat appearance, creativity, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
