Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially minded, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial modelling, investment analysis, project finance, valuation, business planning, and strategic decision-making across multiple client engagements and internal projects.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong financial modelling skills, experience in investment banking or management consulting, and the ability to evaluate business opportunities from both financial and commercial perspectives.
- This role requires someone who is comfortable working with complex financial data, developing investment-grade financial models, and supporting transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modelling & Analysis:
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for investment opportunities, business valuations, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and fundraising transactions.
- Prepare integrated three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
- Build financial forecasts, scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, and investment return models.
- Perform valuation exercises using DCF, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions, and other relevant methodologies.
Investment & Business Analysis:
- Conduct financial due diligence and investment analysis for prospective projects.
- Analyze financial statements and identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare investment memoranda, feasibility studies, and commercial assessments.
- Evaluate project viability and provide recommendations to support investment decisions.
Strategic Finance & Planning:
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
- Develop business cases for new projects and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor project financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend financial improvements.
Research & Market Intelligence:
- Conduct industry, market, and competitor research.
- Analyze macroeconomic trends and sector developments.
- Gather financial intelligence to support investment and advisory engagements.
Reporting & Stakeholder Support:
- Prepare financial dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
- Support funding proposals, investor presentations, and financing documentation.
- Present financial insights clearly to internal teams and senior management.
- Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and external stakeholders on financial aspects of engagements.
Process Improvement:
- Improve financial modelling templates and analytical processes.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Support automation and efficiency initiatives where applicable.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience
Candidates must possess:
- 3–5 years' relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Transaction Advisory, or Project Finance.
- At least 2 years' hands-on experience working within an Investment Bank, Corporate Finance Advisory firm, or Management Consulting firm.
- Demonstrated experience developing complex financial models for investment decisions, fundraising, project finance, or business valuation.
- Experience preparing feasibility studies, investment memoranda, financial reports, and board presentations.
Mandatory Qualifications
Applicants must possess at least one of the following professional qualifications:
- FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) – Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) OR
- Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) Certification
Additionally:
- ACA (ICAN) qualification is required.
- Candidates currently pursuing CFA, ACCA, or other advanced finance certifications will have an added advantage.
