DLAB Medicare Services Limited is a new medicare company engaged in the business of operating a medical/pathological testing laboratory, scan centers andhealthclubs and deals in all types of laboratory and medical equipments and medical consumables and supplies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with specimen collection, labeling, sorting, storage, and preparation for laboratory testing.
• Support the Medical Laboratory Scientist in performing routine laboratory tests, analyzing specimens, and accurately documenting test results.
• Operate, clean, and sterilize laboratory equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and functional laboratory environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assist with laboratory inventory management and the replenishment of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety regulations, infection prevention protocols, and biohazard handling procedures.
• Participate in MLSCN laboratory inspections and regulatory assessments as directed by laboratory leadership.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Medical Laboratory Scientist or Laboratory Manager in support of laboratory operations.

Qualification Requirements

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Diploma
• 1 - 2 years work experience in a hospital-based or medical laboratory setting.
• Valid/Current Practitioner License issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Computer literacy and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Email.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and the use of laboratory equipment.
• Must be of good moral character, friendly with good communication skills and who can guarantee and ensure excellent communication with patients, customers and staff.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Conditions of Employment:

• Must maintain a valid annual Practicing License issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Candidates must currently reside in Ibadan, Oyo State, or be willing to relocate prior to commencement of employment.

Salary

• N80,000.00 per month including 13 Month Salary/Christmas Bonus (Half of One Month Salary) after one year of employment.
