Job Title: Nursing Officer

Role Description

• The Nursing Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Dukes Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital in Lagos. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing neurosurgical and other specialist procedures, including admission assessment, pre- and post-operative care, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and clinical status.
• The Nursing Officer will administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, and collaborate closely with neurosurgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to support individualized care plans.
• The Competence and Post-basic qualification determines the level of entry.
• The ideal candidate should have atleast 5 years post qualification.
• Specialized Nurses in dialysis and ICU are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements / Qualification

• BNSC (should have finished the one year compulsory service)
• Post-qualification in ICU or Nephrology/Dialysis
• At least 5 years experience
• Good Communication skill
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary Team
• Ability to lead a Team.
