Job Description

  • A Maintenance Manager in Olam Agri is responsible for directing all engineering functions within edible oil processing operations.
  • The role focuses on maintenance strategy, asset reliability, and optimisation of plant infrastructure to support seamless production.
  • The incumbent will lead technical teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure efficient delivery of engineering services aligned with production and business objectives while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Maintenance Strategy & Execution:

  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure high equipment uptime and efficient scheduling.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime.

Leadership & Project Management:

  • Lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Manage projects including upgrades, installations, and improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Financial & Operational Management:

  • Manage CAPEX/OPEX and drive cost optimisation.
  • Monitor KPIs such as MTBF and OEE.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive best practices and technology adoption.
  • Improve asset lifecycle and operational efficiency.

Requirements
Experience:

  • 8 – 15 years of experience in industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role focused on maintenance management.
  • Experience in manufacturing or process industries preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in maintenance strategies and reliability engineering.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
