About the Role
- We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and scale our core products.
- You'll take ownership of complex technical problems, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our platform.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives on writing clean, maintainable code and wants to have real influence over how software gets built.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions.
- Take ownership of features and systems from design through deployment.
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code following best practices.
- Participate in and help shape architectural and technical design decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, supporting their technical growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt.
- Contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support production incident response as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Go, C#).
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade applications at scale.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in agile/scrum development environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to microservices or distributed systems architecture.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading small project teams.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
