We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Radiologist

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Radiologist is responsible for interpreting diagnostic medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, and other imaging studies to diagnose diseases and injuries.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate, timely reports that support effective patient care while maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Fluoroscopy.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant imaging reports.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Perform image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
  • Review imaging requests to determine the most appropriate diagnostic procedure.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to radiographers and other imaging personnel.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous medical education.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) or equivalent.
  • Fellowship in Radiology (FWACS, FMCR, FRCR, or equivalent recognized qualification).
  • Valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • 5-8 years post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology (preferred).
  • Proficiency in interpreting CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and other imaging modalities.
  • Knowledge of PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in interventional radiology is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining diagnostic accuracy.

Salary
N400,000 - N600,000 Monthly.
