Location: Ikotun, Lagos

Job Summary

• Diamond Throne Lifestyle is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to ensure the continuous operation, maintenance, and safety of all electrical systems across our facility. If you have strong technical expertise and can work independently during night hours, we encourage you to apply.

Job Description

• The Electrician will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, diagnosing faults, responding promptly to electrical emergencies, and ensuring all electrical installations and equipment remain in optimal working condition throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults promptly.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and smooth operation of electrical installations.
• Maintain generators, distribution panels, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and other electrical components.
• Respond immediately to electrical breakdowns and emergencies during the night shift.
• Install, replace, and upgrade electrical fittings when required.
• Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and report major faults to management.
• Ensure tools and work areas are kept clean and safe.

Requirements
Education:

• Formal educational qualification is not a requirement.
• Technical competence and the ability to perform the job effectively are the primary selection criteria.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' practical experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Experience with commercial or hospitality facilities will be an added advantage.
• Relevant technical certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Other Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and capable of handling maintenance duties.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations.
• Applicants residing within or around Ikotun and its environs will be given preference.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
