Locations: Abuja, Warri - Delta, and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Description

• Our client is seeking a competent and results-driven Fuel Handler to perform safe receipt, storage, transfer, loading, and unloading of petroleum products in accordance with Oil & Gas industry operational and HSE standards.
• The role requires practical experience in fuel depots, tank farms, terminals, offshore supply bases, or other petroleum handling facilities, with responsibility for tank gauging, equipment inspection, product measurement, stock monitoring, and immediate reporting of operational abnormalities, leaks, or safety incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, transfer, load, and unload petroleum products safely.
• Monitor storage tanks and fuel dispensing equipment.
• Conduct routine tank gauging and product measurements.
• Assist in fuel inventory reconciliation.
• Inspect hoses, pumps, valves, and loading equipment.
• Maintain accurate operational records.
• Report leaks, spillages, and equipment defects immediately.
• Ensure housekeeping of fuel storage and loading areas.
• Comply with all HSE regulations and operational procedures.
• Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
• Support stock verification exercises.

Requirements & Qualifications

• National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years' experience in fuel depot, petroleum terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of fuel handling procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to operate fuel handling equipment safely.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work shifts.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.
• Valid HSE certification is desirable.
