We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities 
Deposit mobilisation and sales:

  • Achieve growth across KPIs: liability mobilisation, CASA and fixed deposits, new funded accounts, income generation, and e-banking product adoption. 
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, merchant and payroll initiatives, and community outreach. 
  • Execute local marketing strategy and develop campaigns to meet branch deposit and revenue targets. 
  • Develop and manage referral networks (agents, merchants, employers) to sustain lead flow and conversions.

 Account opening and onboarding:

  • Open and convert funded accounts; ensure KYC/AML documentation is complete and accurate before funding. 
  • Explain product features, fees and benefits, onboard customers to digital channels (mobile, USSD, internet banking) to increase transactional volumes. 
  • Track funding status and hand off transaction processing to operations while ensuring timely follow-up.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and small business customers: conduct periodic account reviews and needs assessments. 
  • Cross-sell and bundle products (standing orders, payroll solutions, e-wallets) to deepen wallet share. 
  • Expedite resolution of complaints to maximize satisfaction and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Strong sales, negotiation and relationship management skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have completed NYSC.
