Job Title: Corporate Finance Specialist

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

About the Role

• seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the bank's financial management, regulatory compliance, and financial planning functions.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the bank's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the bank's finance and accounting functions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to executive management and the Board.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), NDIC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend strategies for improved profitability.
• Manage statutory audits, tax compliance, and external financial reporting.
• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and risk management processes.
• Supervise and develop the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a Microfinance Bank or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, financial reporting standards, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
