Shop Floor Attendant at Buymore Supermarket

Buymore is a retail/supermarket with four branches (GRA Ikeja, Abule Egba, Isheri, & Ibafo)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shop Floor Attendant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties
Customer Service:

• Facilitate the Buymore Brand in ensuring that all customers are welcomed and that they receive the best possible service by:
  • Greeting customers and ascertaining what each customer wants or need.
  • Providing a proper level of service to customers and potential customers.
  • Facliltating sales to customers in compliance with all company policies and conditions.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges.
  • Answer customers' questions about specific products/services.

Floor Management:

• Organizing the shop floor and ensuring all merchandize are well displayed on the shelves
• Ensure racks are fully stocked at all times.
• Ensure all products on display are tagged with current prices
• Daily clean shelves, merchandize and tables.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

Operational Execution:
Ensure compliance with all operating standards, policies, and procedures, which include:

• Ensuring the safekeeping and protection of all company assets (owned or rented)
• Replenishing sold items from the stock room
• Inform procurement departments of products on demand by customers
• Notify Inventory department about products expiring date
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.

Requirement

• Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification.
