Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• The security officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's staff, patients, visitors, assets, and premises.
• The role also supports facility operations through access control, generator management, patient assistance, traffic coordination, and administrative support.

Job Responsibilities

• Protect the lives, property, and assets of the company by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Control access to the facility by opening and closing the gates, monitoring visitors, and enforcing access control procedures.
• Conduct routine surveillance and report any security or safety concerns promptly.
• Operate the generator, monitor its usage, dispense diesel, maintain accurate fuel and generator records, and report faults.
• Direct clients and visitors to designated parking areas and coordinate vehicle movement when necessary.
• Assist in transporting patients within the facility using wheelchairs, shell chairs, or stretchers.
• Support the HR/Admin Manager with administrative, logistics, and other operational duties as assigned.
• Maintain security, visitor, and incident records and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Deliver courteous customer service, comply with company policies, and perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• WASSCE/NECO or equivalent (OND and NCE are added advantages).
• Previous security or healthcare facility experience is an added advantage.
• Young and vibrant with the ability to communicate properly in English.
• Basic knowledge of generator operation and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
