We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Iganmu, Lagos

Job Purpose 

• To provide electrical maintenance support for pasta production equipment, ensuring optimum machine performance, minimal downtime, and compliance with engineering, safety, and food safety standards.

The Job

• Executing preventive maintenance on pasta processing machines and related infrastructure. 
• Carrying out corrective and predictive maintenance on motors, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical systems. 
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults to minimize production downtime. 
• Conducting routine inspections to identify electrical defects and equipment abnormalities. 
• Supporting the installation, commissioning, calibration, and testing of new electrical equipment. 
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and spare parts usage. 
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures, Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO), GMP, and food safety standards. 
• Performing root cause (Why-Why) analysis on recurring equipment failures. 
• Collaborating with Mechanical, Production, QA, and HSE teams to improve equipment reliability. 
• Supporting engineering improvement initiatives and contributing to the achievement of departmental KPIs. 

Requirements
Qualification:

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics &English in not more than 2 sittings. 
• Technical certification would be an added advantage. 

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. 

The Person Must:

• Possess strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. 
• Have working knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, relays, sensors, and industrial wiring. 
• Be able to interpret electrical drawings and use electrical measuring instruments. 
• Exhibit excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
