Job Title: Treasury Officer

Reports To: Finance Manager / Accountant

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a highly meticulous Treasury Officer with at least 2 years of experience to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial liquidity in a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate possesses high accuracy, requires minimal supervision, and is highly proficient in modern productivity tools.

Key Responsibilities
Cash Management & Liquidity:

  • Monitor daily cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity for operations.
  • Forecast cash flows and track funding requirements for upcoming projects.

Banking & Payments:

  • Execute bank transactions and wire transfers securely and timely.
  • Maintain banking relationships and handle administrative queries with financial partners.

Reconciliation & Reporting:

  • Reconcile bank accounts daily to verify accuracy and detect discrepancies early.
  • Prepare weekly treasury reports detailing cash reserves and transaction activities.

Data Accuracy & Tools Usage:

  • Input treasury data with flawless precision into financial systems.
  • Leverage digital office tools to automate tracking and organize digital files.

Requirements
Education & Professional Certifications:

  • Academic degree: B.Sc. or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Professional progress: Progress towards ICAN or similar certifications is an advantage.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a dedicated treasury role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sharp analytical skills, high accuracy, and unwavering attention to detail.
