We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The successful candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a high level of integrity while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record Transactions: Post journal entries, update accounts payable and receivable, and maintain accurate general ledgers.
• Perform Reconciliations: Balance bank statements, expense reports, and vendor accounts on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Support Financial Reporting: Help compile data for balance sheets, income statements, and tax filings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Software Proficiency: Strong skill level in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Core Competencies: High attention to detail, good math skills, and basic understanding of financial reporting principles.
