Job Title: HSE Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a competent and proactive HSE Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
• Organize and facilitate HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE initiatives.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) will be an added advantage.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
