Green Habitat Initiative (GHI) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and improved livelihoods across Nigeria. GHI designs and implements community-based initiatives that address climate change, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and green innovation.

Job Description

• GHI seeks to provide an opportunity for a motivated and proactive NYSC member to join as a Program Assistant - Communication.
• This role is ideal for corps members who are eager to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, environmental sustainability, and community development within a mission-driven organization.
• The selected candidate will be exposed to real-world challenges in the non-profit and development sector, benefit from structured training and mentorship, and have opportunities to engage with key stakeholders while supporting both professional growth and meaningful contributions to program outcomes.

Who we are looking for

• A 2026 NYSC Corp member (Batch B, Stream 1 and Stream 2) with a Bachelor's degree, HND, or MSc. Advanced qualifications are a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, visual, and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and other relevant software applications.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to the mission and values of Green Habitat Initiative.
