Job Title: Live-in Nanny

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Live-in Nanny to provide dedicated childcare for two children under the age of 5.
  • The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while supporting the children’s physical, emotional, and educational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time care for two young children (under 5 years).
  • Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and development.
  • Maintain daily routines including meals, playtime, rest/nap schedules, and bedtime.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment, including light housekeeping related to childcare (laundry, tidying play areas, cleaning bottles/toys).
  • Support early childhood education through reading, storytelling, and interactive play.
  • Accompany children to appointments, outings, and playdates as required.
  • Monitor and report on children’s progress, health, and wellbeing to parents.
  • Administer first aid in case of minor injuries and follow emergency procedures if required.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an FSLC
  • Previous experience as a nanny, childcare provider, or in early childhood education.
  • Proven ability to care for children under 5 years.
  • Basic knowledge of child nutrition, health, and hygiene.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of patience, compassion, and responsibility.
  • Flexibility to live-in and adapt to family routines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Early childhood education training or certification.
  • Experience working with multiple children.
  • Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license (if required).
