Job Description

• An AWS Solutions Architect (SA) translates complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• They bridge the gap between business leaders and technical engineering teams

Key Job Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture Design: Build blueprints for multi-tier applications using core services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
• Well-Architected Framework Alignment: Ensure solutions meet the six fundamental AWS pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability.
• Client Consultation: Partner directly with stakeholders to align cloud infrastructure with long-term company growth.
• Migration Strategy: Design and lead execution paths to migrate obsolete legacy systems into modern cloud ecosystems.
• Security & Compliance Management: Implement structural governance using least-privilege IAM, data encryption, and network boundaries.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
