Job Description

  • The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program (full-time) that supports the development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris. 
  • A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris’ culture and industrial heritage, leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides quality assurance for end products by analyzing performance of the manufacturing process and designing or improving
  • manufacturing practices.
  • Complies with established quality standards, designing a stable and defect-free process and tracking quality procedures from
  • generation to implementation.
  • Provides optimization to the process using technological information and reports from competitors and benchmarking activities. Coordinates technological R&D activities in the area.
  • Provides technical support ensuring the provision of technical service on initiatives of new projects related to the
  • line/process.
  • Ensures satisfaction of internal clients and external customers by monitoring product quality results and analyzing/implementing action plans as required.
  • Collaborates in the fulfilment of cost objectives optimizing the use of the most relevant supplies.
  • Collaborates in compliance with line manufacturing programs, verifying that the performance of machinery and instruments used in the production process responds to established use and efficiency criteria
  • Takes into consideration energy-saving issues when developing phases and processes.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree with a minimum of second class upper
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Proficiency with basic data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, e.t.c)
  • Line pipe coating knowledge will be an added advantage
  • NYSC completion is mandatory.
