We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager
Location: Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement investment strategies across client portfolios
- Manage portfolio performance and ensure alignment with client objectives and risk tolerance
- Monitor market trends and identify investment opportunities
- Review and approve investment recommendations and portfolio allocations
- Prepare and present portfolio performance and market reports
- Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and recommend corrective actions where necessary
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investment policies
- Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient portfolio execution
- Provide guidance to the portfolio management team
- Conduct in-depth macroeconomic, industry, and security analysis to identify investment opportunities and portfolio risks
- Contribute to investment product development and business growth initiatives
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIS, ACA)
- 6 - 8 years of experience in portfolio management
Competency Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of portfolio management and financial markets
- Excellent analytical and investment decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of risk management principles
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership and team development capability
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
